Update on baby Drew, 4-29-14

Good evening everyone, just wanted to give you the latest update on baby Drew.  I visited Andy today at Vandy,  and he is very pleased with the progress of Drew.   I received a text a little while ago saying, “They are calling Drew a rock star.  They said his case is remarkable.  God is listening to all the prayers.  Words cannot express the gratitude.  We have already made it to the seventh floor, which means it’s the last step before going home and we get to stay in the room with him. They say if all goes well tonight, they will take his chest tubes out tomorrow.  Keep praying that he can eat more and more from his bottle. Received at 4:40 p.m. today.

We serve a mighty God, that cares greatly for his children.  I praise the Lord for Baby Drew, and his family.  May we keep lifting him to the Lord in prayer.

Thank you,

Lee D.

“Easter Play”

Good Morning, I hope you and your family are doing well today.  This is one of my favorite times of the year.  Everything is coming to life, the trees, the flowers, even the birds sing a different tune this time of year.  This spring has brought some new things in my life, as well, and I want to share with you one of them.  Its an Easter Play!

I want to take this opportunity to invite you and your family and friends to a great Easter production called “The Greatest Love Story,” without giving to much away, one of the scenes of the play is the Lasts Supper, when Jesus calls all his disciples together and gives them the dramatic account of things to come including, the betrayal of his life, and of his soon death.  There is also a dramatic plot of Jesus and a demon.  I’ve seen a lot of plays, but this one is special.  You’ll have to see it to understand what I mean.  So please make your plans to see “The Greatest Love Story.”

Place : Unity Free Will Baptist Church, 1901 Florence Rd.

Directions:  Landmark – if you are leaving station 5, take a left on to Florence Rd and drive over the I-840 bridge, as soon as you drive over the bridge turn right into the church parking lot.
